Product variants (e.g. color, fabric, size) presented a complex UI challenge. We rapidly explored a variety of selection and presentation options with the goal of finding a scalable, intuitive system that also felt authentic to the visually-focused Pinterest core experience.

Exploring the checkout flow was critical to creating a simple, light-weight experience for pinners. We explored a variety of approaches from more focused (full-screen) flows to contextually present checkout options.
